What fun to read about my home town, Lake Bluff. I am now 82 yrs old and live in Nashville. I was born in Alice Home Hospital in Lake Forest. I attended LB School and LF High School (class '45). I remember Rev Nelson at Union Church very well as my mother played the piano for years there (Dorothy Karch). I also remember Rev Ferry well and his youngest son, Bill lives in Nashville too. I used to live at 115 Center Ave and my dad(Harry Karch) sold the land that the new village hall is situated. Dad was the town treasurer back in the '30's. We sure had a good time growing up in LB swimming, skating, playing tennis, etc.

The Vliet Museum of Lake Bluff History would like the opportunity to hear more of Marjory Karch Pearson's memories of growing up in Lake Bluff. We'd welcome hearing from her. Possibly she would contact the museum through their website.
